General Information:

Position Title: Head of Student Accounts



Position Summary:

Head of Student Accounts is responsible for the oversight and overall management of the financial aid, business office at the the KK Modi University campus.  Provides student financial assistance information to current and prospective student(s).  Coordination and management of the daily operations of the aforementioned departments which includes, supervision, monitoring and management of student accounts to ensure timely and accurate receipt of cash disbursements; generate periodic reports for the use of institutional management and assist in the resolution of concerns or regulatory guidance pertinent to the financial aid department and other departments that are under the direct supervision of this position.  



Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the management of the counseling of students individually and collectively on the application process and procedures for financial assistance for the University.
  • Responsible for ensuring all students applying for federal financial assistance to the University are processed in accordance with the Department of Education guidelines UGC .
  • Responsible for ensuring students have an established budget regarding the cost of their education.
  • Ensures proper management, accountability, and EFT/ordering 
  • Responsible for the analysis and accountability of student tuition payments.
  • Ensures all financial planning information is input and managed in the LMS /COLPOL and Powerfaid ??.
  • Responsible for assisting in the preparation of fiscal reports.
  • Ensures timely and required communication between the Registrar and Financial aid administrators for the purpose of verification and management of the satisfactory academic progress (SAP) and status changes of all students.
  • Responsible for the management of the auditing files for each new start, repack, and Crossover Period.
  • Responsible for ensuring an independent Third Party conduct and annual files review.
  • Responsible for taking timely and effective action on all concerns regarding FA and Business office files management.
  • Responsible for delivering the highest level of quality customer service to both the internal and external customers of the organization.
  • Ensure the Financial aid and Business office staff are properly trained to perform the necessary functions to accurately process new and current students.
  • Perform quality assurance review on all student financial aid files.
  • Responsible for attendance at all commencement exercises.
  • Responsible for the completion of other task as assigned.

Qualification and Experience: 

-    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
-    Three to five years of progressively responsible job experience 
-    Basic knowledge of  university academic rules and regulations
-    Good general business knowledge. 
-    Proven ability to complete tasks.
