Position Title: HR Executive
Reports to: Functionally to Head-Accounts, Administration & IT.
Administratively to Vice Chancellor
Location: Durg, Chhattisgarh
Position Summary:
The HR Executive provides direct and administrative support for the HR Department and is responsible for recruitment, induction, training, performance management, rewards & recognition, employee related statutory compliances, employee communication and employee engagement. He/She must be able to function independently, draft Circulars, Job descriptions, Recruitment advertisements, cultivate local network required for external context management/salary & talent benchmarking and complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner.
The HR Executive would maintain official and confidential Personnel & Policy/HR Manual and other records related to Employee Data, meetings, correspondence, policies and procedures.The HR Executive is also responsible for gathering, analyzing and editing information for various people & administrative projects as well as conducting such activities in accordance with University policies and regulations, consistent with the highest ethical standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Mentioned below are some key duties and responsibilities of a HR Executive:
- Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience
- Sourcing, Sorting incoming resumes and log them into appropriate tracking. The candidate should possess good knowledge of using various job portals like nakri.com, LinkedIn, network capital etc. for prompt retrieval mechanisms on time.
- Conducting Interviews & Assessments
- Employee Records & People Data Management.
- Ensuring smooth onboarding of employees including Induction/orientation
- Manage Coordination between all departments for all internal events/sessions as well as smooth functioning of the university
- Consistently conduct follow-up on all assignments to assure successful completion.
- Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as policy administration, leaves, compensation etc. and resolve issues and problems by conducting frequent help desks
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Vendor management including 3rd party employees and related follow ups
- Participate in appropriate university activities that may include: open houses, regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, career days, etc.
- Adhere to all statutes & ordinances, accreditations and University rules & regulations.
- Resolve employee grievances
- Recommend changes and improvements in people processes.
- Assisting in developing the desired Values & Culture of KKMU leading to happy, engaged employees that will fuel the projected growth.
- Conduct all activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards.
Qualification and Experience:
- Post Graduate Degree/MBA in Human Resource Management from a recognized institute
- Two Three to five years’ experience in key support role in HR Department of a reputed university/Institution
- Experience in recruiting, training, or organizational development.
- Knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Basic knowledge of university academic rules and regulations
- Good general business knowledge.
- Proven ability to complete tasks.
